Kathmandu- The next meeting of the National Assembly is scheduled to be held on Thursday at 11:15 am. According to the Parliament Secretariat, the time was fixed following Wednesday’s meeting.
During the National Assembly session held on Wednesday, lawmakers drew the government’s attention to various contemporary issues. Speaking during the zero hour, they urged the government to control rising inflation, create employment opportunities, and find a long-term solution to the problems faced by landless squatters.
Lawmakers also called on the government to take effective measures to reduce incidents of caste-based discrimination and to revive sick and closed industries that have remained inactive for a long time.
