The situation in the country is getting worse day by day. The US has implemented new rules for visa applicants.
Visa applicants will have to provide information about the social media they have been using for the past 5 years. The US Embassy in Nepal has issued a notice warning that if a visa applicant does not provide information about social media, the visa may be rejected and they may be ineligible for a US visa in the future.
New security standards have been implemented in the US visa DS 160 form. It has become mandatory for applicants to fully list all social media platforms used by them in the past five years and the handles or usernames used on those platforms.
Before signing and submitting the application form, applicants must certify that all the information they have provided is correct and true.
