UML MP Baral Demands Immediate Release of Party Chair Oli and Congress Leader Lekhak

Kathmandu- Nepal Communist Party (UML) MP Guru Baral has demanded the immediate release of party chairman KP Sharma Oli and Congress leader Ramesh Lekhak during his speech at today’s meeting of the House of Representatives.

MP Baral emphasized that the government must operate according to the constitution. He raised concerns over the suppression of a peaceful protest held against the arrest of the party chairman, noting that even MPs representing the people were injured during the incident.

Baral also called on the government to form a committee to investigate why a lathi charge was carried out against the peaceful protestors.
