Kathmandu- Gen Z activist Miraj Dhungana has accused Prime Minister Balen Shah of avoiding direct responses to questions raised by lawmakers in the House of Representatives.
Dhungana made the remarks after it was reported that the Prime Minister, despite being scheduled to respond to questions during the parliamentary debate on the government’s policy and program, would instead have the Finance Minister respond on his behalf. He criticized the move, saying the Prime Minister was evading responsibility.
Taking to social media, he questioned, “How long will the Prime Minister keep running away from the people?”
Dhungana also criticized the lack of direct public engagement since the Prime Minister took office, stating that it was concerning that nearly two months had passed without any direct communication with citizens.
