Kathmandu, August 7 – The highly anticipated NAIMA Expo – 2025, organized by the Nepal Automobile Manufacturers and Importers Association (NAIMA), has officially kicked off at Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu. The five-day automobile exhibition began on Wednesday (Sawan 25) and showcases more than 50 automobile brands, including 35 new variants being launched for the first time in Nepal.
A major highlight of this year’s expo is the significant presence of electric vehicles (EVs). The exhibition floor is dominated by Chinese EV brands, reflecting Nepal's growing shift toward alternative energy-based transportation.

According to NAIMA Nepal, the expo features:
15 two-wheelers
15 four-wheelers
5 commercial vehicles
Most of these vehicles are being introduced to the Nepali market for the first time.
Passenger Car Brands on Display
Popular names such as Toyota, MG, BYD, Citroen, Great Wall Motors, Hyundai, Kia, Mahindra, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Renault, Volkswagen, Peugeot, Omoda/JAECOO, Proton, Zeekr and others have set up stalls at the expo.
Two-Wheeler Participation
In the two-wheeler category, top brands like Bajaj, Honda, Royal Enfield, Ampere, Ather, Benelli, CF Moto, Gogoro, KTM, NIU, Revolt, Segway-Ninebot, Suzuki, Triumph, TVS, Ultraviolette, Yadea, and Zeeho are participating.
