Kathmandu - Former President of the NADA Automobiles Association of Nepal, Karan Chaudhary, has formally handed over the responsibilities to the newly elected President Surendra Kumar Uprety during the first meeting of the association’s central executive committee.

On the occasion, former president Chaudhary congratulated Uprety and wished him a successful tenure. He expressed confidence that Uprety’s leadership would play an important role in the institutional development of NADA and the advancement of Nepal’s automobile sector.

Speaking at the program, President Uprety pledged to strengthen the organization in line with NADA’s objectives, constitution, and core values. He stated that during his tenure he would work to make the association more dynamic, active, and effective while safeguarding the interests of member businesses. He also emphasized cooperation with relevant stakeholders to promote the overall development of the automobile sector.

According to the NADA statute 2078, President Uprety nominated Mahesh Pal, Deepak Kumar Agrawal, and Rajesh Giri as members of the association’s central executive committee. Welcoming the newly nominated members, he expressed hope that they would play an active role in the organization’s upcoming activities.

The central executive committee of NADA has also decided to conduct the election process soon to select office bearers. The association expressed confidence that it will continue working to strengthen policy collaboration, protect the rights and interests of automobile entrepreneurs, and contribute to the overall development of the automobile sector in the coming days.
