Kathmandu- Nepal Bank has earned a net profit of Rs 2.79 billion in the third quarter of the current fiscal year. This marks an increase of around 0.34 percent compared to the same period of the previous fiscal year.
During the corresponding period last year, the bank had posted a profit of Rs 2.78 billion.
According to the unaudited financial report published by the bank, distributable profit stands at Rs 321.3 million. The distributable earnings per share have been recorded at Rs 2.92.
Similarly, the bank’s earnings per share stand at Rs 25.34, while its net worth per share has reached Rs 272.79.
The report also shows that the bank’s non-performing loan (NPL) ratio stands at 4.96 percent.
The bank currently has a paid-up capital of Rs 14.69 billion, while its reserve fund has accumulated Rs 25.39 billion.
